Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR)

QPR (Question, Persuade, & Refer) is a program that works by teaching participants skills they can use when someone is experiencing a potential mental health crisis. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. It is the most widely taught Gatekeeper Training in the world.

We specialize in providing QPR certification courses to people in demanding industries, such as healthcare, higher education, athletics, and construction. Courses can be taught as standalone QPR certification or with additional mental health information that is tailored to each unique audience. Continuing education credits available for several disciplines, including but not limited to athletic trainers and EMTs.

Upon successful completion of any QPR course, you are certified in QPR for one year.

Courses can be a standalone QPR certification (60 or 120 minute courses) or offered with additional mental health and suicide information tailored to your group or population you serve (additional 60 to 90 minutes).

Yes! QPR courses can be given entirely online, so you can complete them from the comfort of your own home or within your work environment.
Yes! We are happy to provide in-person instruction for no additional fee in the Grand Forks, ND area. Outside of that area, additional charges apply. Contact us to discuss details!
Unfortunately, no. The courses are highly interactive. We also want to create and maintain safety for participants. Therefore, we cannot record the instructor-led portion for later viewing.
We do have a number of on-demand courses related to mental health that you are welcome to purchase.
Unfortunately, no. These courses are designed for adult participants only (ages 18+).
Yes, we offer CE credits for specific courses offered to medical and mental health professionals. Each course registration page will indicate if it is offered for CE credit. We partner with ATAGF for our CE courses, and they are an approved CE provider for the BOC, NDBSWE, and NDBACE.
