Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a program that works by teaching participants skills necessary to respond with care and genuine support to an individual experiencing a mental health or substance use concern or crisis. Mental health problems are common and, with the right help, wellness and recovery are possible.

We specialize in offering Youth and Adult MHFA courses to people in the sport environment. Our instructors have a long history of participating and working in sport environments.

We offer MHFA courses to sport parents, student-athletes, coaches, athletic administrators, and sports medicine professionals in virtual and in-person settings. Our instructors are also trained to offer specialized in-person courses to Higher Education, Rural Communities, Military Veterans & Families, and Fire/EMS populations.

Upon successful completion of any MHFA course, participants will be a certified Mental Health First Aider for three years.
